November Computer Classes at NA-FC Library
Featuring Intermediate Level Classes for November

 This fall, the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library continues with our schedule of progressive monthly computer classes, returning to Intermediate level classes in November 2017. Our November classes are aimed at the Intermediate level, to be followed by Advanced level classes in December. We are also offering a make-up class for Beginner Excel, for those who may have missed it in October. You can double up and take both Beginner and Intermediate levels of Excel in November! Other Intermediate class topics include Intro to Blogging and Staying Safe on the Internet. Beginner Excel Make-Up
Thursday, November 2, 6:30-8:00 PM

If you missed out on last month’s session, here is another chance to take it. This is a class for those who have little to no experience with Excel. You will learn how Excel works and how to enter data, along with some easy functions, the difference between numbers and text, and some terms related to Excel.

Intermediate Word
Tuesday, November 7, 6:30-8:00 PM

Building on the skills learned in Beginner Word, participants will delve a little deeper into the functions of Word. You will learn how to find and replace, use the thesaurus, and organize toolbars.

Intermediate Excel
Thursday, November 9, 6:30-8:00 PM

Build on the skills you learned in Beginner Excel. You will learn how to do calculations, execute row and column management, and format cells, as well as using graphs and charts.

Bring Your Own Device: Windows 10
Saturday, November 11, 10:00 AM - NOON

Windows 10 is the newest operating system for Microsoft. Learn about all the new features of this long anticipated new system.

Digital Scrapbooking

Staying Safe on the Internet

Build on the skills you learned in Internet Basics by ensuring that when you use the Web, you are practicing safe skills. Learn about some common misconceptions that are tied to the Internet as well as what you can do to protect your computer.
