Change of Address:
Please notify our office whenever you have a change of address. In order to prevent fraud, addresses can only be changed in person or by fax or by mail. After you print out the form, mail it, along wth a copy of a photo ID to: Floyd County Clerk's Office, Child Support, 311 Hauss Square Room 235, New Albany, IN 47150. You may fax the form with photo copy of a picture ID to (812) 948-4711. We recommend that you call 948-5416 to confirm that it was received.
A new support case needs a completed information sheet given to the Child Support Deputy Clerk. You may download an information sheet here. Please be sure to write your cause number on your check and the name of the custodial parent so that your payment is credited to the correct account and that there is no delay in sending your payment to the custodial parent.
You may pay your child support with cash, money order, cashiers check or certified check. We will accept personal checks; however, if a person has had two returned unpaid for insufficient funds, we will not accept personal checks from you.
Everyone who pays support in Indiana must pay an annual fee of $55.00. (IC 33-19-6-5) This fee is in addition to the regular support payments and must be paid on a separate check from support.
Need a copy of your payment history? The cost is 50 cents per page plus an additional $1.00 if you need this certified. Privacy laws require you to show a picture ID when you pick it up in person.

The court orders child support and the Clerk does not have the authority to enforce these orders. If you need to have a support order enforced, modified or arrearages calculated please talk with your attorney. You may also choose to join the Title IV-D Enforcement through the Floyd County Prosecuting Attorney's Child Support Division. For more information about this program call (812) 948-5475.
