| The Floyd County Sheriff's Department provides law enforcement to the County. It is responsible for the county jail and for all prisoners. It serves as officers of the courts, serves all civil process papers, collects deliquent taxes, transports all prisoners and mental patients. The Floyd County Sheriff's Department attends County Council and Commissioner meetings and executes their orders. |
